As a Buyer, you can make an Offer on (1) multiple listings from the same Seller (known as Bundled Deal) or (2) a single listing.
If you're making an Offer on a Bundled Deal:
Click on the "Add to Bundled Deal" button on the listing page to add the listing to your Bundled Deal cart, where you can continue to add listings from the same Seller.
Once your cart is ready, you can click on the cart icon and select Make Offer. Learn more about Bundled Deals here.
If you're making an Offer on a single listing:
Apart from cart function, you can also directly click on the “Make Offer/Proposal” button on the listing page, and select the 'Make an Offer' option in the pop-up.
- Before making an Offer, please ensure that your Organization Profile has been updated. This is important as it helps the Seller understand your Organization, enabling them respond promptly and relevantly.
- If you need help anytime during the Offer process, reach out to our Marketplace Success Consultants at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Making an Offer
An Offer includes the following components:
- License Region & Period
- Rights & Commercials - Selected Listings*, Rights Types, Pricing Models & Commercial Groups
- Language & Delivery Specs - Exhibition Channels, Material Specifications
- Payment Details - Terms & Conditions. Custom Terms, Legal Entities
*Only for Bundled Deals
License Region & Period
Start by defining your License Region & License Period that you intend to purchase rights for. If you've created Custom Regions earlier in your Organization Profile, you can key them here and the countries will auto-populate.
Rights & Commercials
This is only applicable for Bundled Deal Offers that consist of multiple listings. You can add or remove listings here.
Determine your currency of choice. By default, currency is set to US dollars.
Select the Rights Type(s) you are interested to license this content for. Note that you can only select Right Type when License Region and Period have been selected.
*Only for Bundled Deals. Use our handy Rights Types grid to check avails instantly. If a listing in your bundle is not available, you may exclude it from the Offer but insert a comment in the custom terms indicating your interest in that title. Or create a single listing Offer separately.
Once the relevant Rights Type is selected, you can choose the Pricing Model(s) for the Offer. The Pricing Models available to you are dependent on the Rights Type selected. Vuulr supports Flat Rate pricing as well as pricing based on revenue-share. We call this Performance Pricing.
Most Offers will only need a single commercial group, which is automatically created. But multiple Groups can be created for more complex Offer structures (e.g. if a Buyer is buying for both an owned Free to Air channel and an owned S-VOD channel). Learn more about Commercial Groups.
Languages & Delivery Specs
Exhibition Channel/ Platform
In this section, you will have to provide the Seller with information about the channels or platforms that you intend to exhibit the content on. For example, the name of your streaming platform or linear channel.
If you have created your Exhibition Channel in your Organization Profile earlier, it should appear here for selection. If not, you can add your channel directly in this page.
Language & Material Specifications
Next you can input your requirements for audio dubbing or subtitling. Learn how to specify your audio and subtitle language here. If you've created Custom Language Groups in your Organization Profile earlier, you can type it in directly in the Language field.
If you have a standard Material Specifications document your Organization uses, you can also upload it here.
In the last section of the Offer, you can define your payment terms and other terms & conditions. You may wish to upload as a standard Terms & Conditions document for your Organization.
If you've uploaded Terms & Conditions in your Organization Profile earlier, it would appear here.
If you have any custom terms or requirements that have not be covered in the Offer, you can also include them in the custom terms here. These terms can be edited by the Buyer and Seller as part of the offer and counter offer process, till you both agree.
Lastly, to finalise the Offer, you will need to have a Legal Entity for billing purposes. To create a legal entity, just click Add Legal Entity.
Each Organization can have more than one Legal Entity. Learn more about Legal Entities here.
