As a Buyer, you can create a Request For Proposal (RFP) on a (1) single listing or (2) multiple listings from the same Seller (known as Bundled Deal).
If you're making an RFP on a single listing:
Click on the “Make Offer/Proposal” button on the listing page, and select the 'Request For Proposal' option in the pop-up.
If you're making an RFP on a Bundled Deal:
Click on the "Add to Bundled Deal" button on the listing page. This will add the listing to your Bundled Deal cart, where you can continue to add listings from the same Seller. Learn more about Bundled Deals here.
Tips:
- Before making an Offer, please ensure that your Organization Profile has been updated. This is important as it helps the Seller understand your Organization, enabling them respond promptly and relevantly.
- If you need help anytime during the Offer process, reach out to our Marketplace Success Consultants at support@vuulr.com.
Creating an RFP
An RFP has similar components to an Offer. The main difference is that as a Buyer, you are making your requirements known to the Seller without suggesting a price. The Seller will use the information you provided to respond with a Proposal, which you can then choose to convert to an Offer.
- License Region & Period
- Rights & Commercials - Selected Listings*, Rights Types, Pricing Models
- Language & Delivery Specs - Exhibition Channels, Language requirements
*Only for Bundled Deals
License Region & Period
Start by defining your License Region & License Period that you intend to purchase rights for. If you've created Custom Regions earlier in your Organization Profile, you can key them here and the countries will auto-populate.
Rights & Commercials
Selected Listings
This is only applicable for Bundled Deal RFPs that consist of multiple listings. You can add or remove listings here.
Currency
Determine your currency of choice. By default, currency is set to US dollars.
Rights Types
Select the Rights Type(s) you are interested to license this content for. Note that you can only select Right Type when License Region and Period have been selected.
Click to learn more about our supported Rights Types and how to select Rights Types.
*Only for Bundled Deals. Use our handy Rights Types grid to check avails instantly. If a listing in your bundle is not available, you may exclude it from the proposal but insert a comment in the custom terms indicating your interest in that title. Or create a single listing RFP separately.
Pricing Models
Once the relevant Rights Type is selected, you can choose the Pricing Model(s) you are open to. The Pricing Models available to you are dependent on the Rights Type selected. If multiple models are available to you, you may select more than one. Unavailable models will be greyed out.

Exhibition Channel/ Platform
Here you will have to provide the Seller with information about the channels or platforms that you intend to exhibit the content on. For example, the name of your streaming platform or linear channel.
If you have created your Exhibition Channel in your Organization Profile earlier, it should appear here for selection. If not, you can add your channel directly in this page.
Language & Delivery Specifications
Next you can input your requirements for audio dubbing or subtitling. Learn how to specify your audio and subtitle language here. If you've created Custom Language Groups in your Organization Profile earlier, you can type it in directly in the Language field.
Message
Lastly, if you have any other requests, you can leave the Seller a note in the Message box. For example, if you are creating an RFP with multiple listings, out of which one of them is not available. You can remove that title under "Selected Listings" but indicate in the message that you are interested in the title.
Confirmation
This is the final page of the RFP! Please review all the terms and requirements before you click Submit. You can edit the RFP by clicking back.
Once submitted, the Seller will be notified of your RFP and will respond with a Proposal which you can choose to convert into an Offer.
