What Video Formats are accepted on Vuulr?

We currently support two types of video assets - Trailers and Screeners. You can either upload the asset files directly into the Marketplace as part of the Listing, or provide Vimeo embed links.

Uploaded Video Assets

For uploading video assets, we generally recommend the following:

Video

Format	MP4, M4V, MOV
Codec	H.264
Resolution	Up to 720p is recommended
Bit rate	Up to 2000 kbps is recommended

Audio

Codec	AAC (Advanced Audio Codec)
Bit rate	Constant, 128 kbps
Channels	Stereo

When in doubt, videos should be of up to 720p HD quality and compression shouldn't be too poor to distract the buyer from evaluating the quality of the production. Conversely, we do not need a very high resolution or bitrate file. A bitrate of around 2000 kbps is sufficient.

Vimeo Embeds

If you're embedding a video from your own Vimeo account, please be sure to paste the actual full URL to the video asset and not the "review" url.

N.B. it is important that you do not remove the Vimeo videos, or change their privacy settings so that they can be embedded into the Marketplace without issue (OR you need to whitelist vuulr.com and app.vuulr.com as permissible websites).
