How to respond to a Bundled Deal

Bundle Deals are formed when a Buyer chooses to add two or more titles from a particular Seller into their Bundled Deal Cart to make a bundled Offer or Request for Proposal (RFP).

Receiving a Bundle Deal

You will be notified via email/ SMS notification when you receive a Bundle Offer or RFP. Or you can check in your Notifications (the bell icon) any time.

If it’s a Bundled Deal, the number of listings added along with the name of one of the Listings will be shown.

Click on the Negotiation tab on the panel at the left side of the screen to view all the details like the number of listings in the Bundle Deal, whether it’s an Offer or RFP, and whether it’s a “multi-Seller” Bundle.

After receiving a Bundle Deal Offer or RFP that is unique to you, you can then respond with a Counter Offer, or a Proposal.

Countering an Offer

Once you click on the Offer, you’ll be able to see the details such as the Buyer name, listings in the Bundle (if they’ve chosen the Bundle’s Listings, and all the licensing terms, just like a single title Offer.

You can create a Counter-offer to edit or propose adjusted terms to the Buyer. For a step by step explanation, please refer to “How should I respond to an Offer or RFP?”.

Note: If it’s a “multi-Seller” Bundle Deal, you may only Accept or Decline, and not Counter-offer, due to the complexity of the Buyer handling multiple Counter-offers within one Offer. We will review this limitation over time.

Add/ Remove Listings in a Bundled Deal

In the case where a selected Listing is not available, you can remove the listings in the Bundle and add relevant Listings when you create a Counter-offer. To add Listings, you can search for titles using the search bar. After doing so, be sure to let the Buyer know of the changes made to the Bundle through the Custom Terms box, or the Chat function.

Accepting a Bundle Offer

If you decide to accept the Offer from the Buyer, click on the Accept Offer button. From there, you’ll be able to review the Deal Memo between you and the Buyer.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you click the Deal Memo in order to “sign” it, and close the deal in the marketplace. This helps our Marketplace Success Team support you in the next stages, the data flows into our transaction logs - so that we can back you up if the Seller tries to pull out of the Deal - and the closure flows into our Billings team.
